Chicken Soup

Ingredients

1 tsp. ginger garlic paste is needed

1/2 teaspoon of salt according to need

250 grams of chicken without bones

5-6 cups of fresh water

1 tsp. black pepper powder

1.2 tsp. Chinese salt

2 proteins for energy

4-5 tbsp. cornmeal or as required for thickness

1/3 cup sweet corn

For serving:

3-4 tbsp. white vinegar with 2-3 green chilies and Soy sauce

3-4 red chili paste / sauce

Method of Chicken Soup

Add 5-6 cups of water, salt, ginger, garlic paste, and chicken in a saucepan. Let the water boil. After that, cook the mixture over medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

Remove the chicken pieces from the stock and cut them into small pieces.

Add 4-5 tablespoons of cornmeal (if necessary) and water, and make a smooth mixture. Make sure there are no lumps.

Crush the sweet corn in a mortar or pestle and keep it aside. (You can add whole corn if you want).

Add to chicken stock (yakhni) 1 teaspoon of salt, black pepper powder and Chinese salt, shredded chicken, and ground corn. Mix it well and let it boil.

Start slowly adding the cornmeal mixture and stir continuously to avoid lumps. You can adjust the thickness according to your demand.

In the end, add the egg’s whites and stir continuously to mix the egg’s whites evenly.

Now you need to cook over medium heat for 2 more minutes.

Serve the hot soup with vinegar, chili sauce, soya sauce and black pepper.
