The Kremlin warns that the conflict with Ukraine has entered a new phase, after the impact of the ATACMS
Kiev.— Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has promised that Moscow will respond appropriately to Ukraine’s ATACMS long-range missile attack yesterday, saying the United States is involved in the attack, which opens a “new phase” of the war.
A senior official in Kiev confirmed to AFP that the Ukrainian military had bombed the Russian border region of Bryansk with US long-range ATACMS missiles, after Russia denounced the attack.
Lavrov said “we will react accordingly,” speaking in Rio de Janeiro , where he participated in the G20 summit .
